Herbal Medicine

Herbal medicine is the oldest and most universal system of medicine in the world. Plants have been used for medicinal purposes for thousands of years, with Indigenous cultures such as Australian aboriginal, African and Native American using herbs in healing rituals. Ancient Chinese and Indian cultures also developed traditional medical systems based on herbal therapies, now known as traditional Chinese medicine and Ayurveda. Today plants are still used to treat and prevent ill health, with over 80 per cent of the world’s population relying on herbal medicines.

We prescribe a range of medicinal herbs designed to help the body heal itself. All of our remedies are customised for each client and seek to treat the underlying causes of ill health and not just a condition. We prescribe according to your specific symptoms, emotional needs, medical and family history, and use iridology and electrodermal testing to ensure accuracy. Our herbal remedies are made up of liquid extracts of plants, including from roots, bark, leaves, flowers and berries.

We also customise homeopathic medicines, comprised of plant, mineral and flower extracts. We offer homeopathic vaccination kits for infants, children and adults as well as first aid kits suitable for the whole family.

It is important to note that pharmaceutical medicines are not without their place. Such medicines are essential for acute physical injuries and infections. The question is when to use them. We do not prescribe pharmaceutical drugs but if we think they could benefit you in the short-term to treat acute symptoms, we will refer you to your general practitioner.
